What do you think of Gillian Flynn or Niccolò Ammaniti, if you have read them?Or do you just read asian literature?
|
I never heard of Gillian Flynn... And I read only one of Ammaniti's books, Anna, but i don't like italian literature, i think it is too realistic.
I read many japanese books, but I like very much fantasy and science fiction books, and the authors of this genres are primarly from the english speaking countries.

I'm not sure if you'd like her now that I know your tastes. She writes thriller/psychological horror books. My new name is the name of the main character of one of her books, ''sharp objects''.
I used to love fantasy when I was younger but since I've started medications 10 years ago half of my imagination is gone and I can no longer appreciate things that are too abstract/imaginary like I used to. I'd give it a try if the characters and the overall plot seems interesting though.
Not books but I liked ''norogami'' and ''fruit basket''.

French is more beatiful than English. But I'm more denied with it than with English. Just image my French

The grammar and the accent are more difficult, but it's a romance language like italian or french so if you put in more effort/change method you might end up finding some aspect of the language easier.
If you truly want to do it you can do it.

I woke up at 6. I was trying to go to the bathroom& wanted to go back to sleep, but I ended up tripping and falling on my way out, then couldn't fall back asleep because I was too awake.
What a great way of starting the day
Good morning, phobic people.

It's a werid language, I've never studied any French but I've heard it's a language full of little quirks, grammar rules and exceptions to those rules, the pronunciation isn't consistent with the written language, or in better terms, what you say doesn't correspond to what you write, and even more annoying there's no word to indicate the number eighty I believe and you just say 4 times 20.... -_-

Yes my left hand and my knees were hurt. But I feel a bit better now. I'm more bummed that I've spent the last months sleeping poorly for a reason or the other and by 14-15 I'm going to feel horribly tired already.
I'm going to buy some things I need for home and then start studying& will try to go to sleep early. How are you?
I wonder if depression can cause waking up too much during the night& problems falling back asleep? I have depression as part of the bipolar but usually before I'd either don't sleep or have problem starting to sleep, but then I'd do 9 hours or 8 and be ok. Now I wake up a lot and sometimes I cannot go back to sleep or feel tired anyway.
I wonder if this will ever end.

I have studied french since elementary school. You have made an accurate summary. On the other hand like I said in some ways its similar to our own language due to our shared latin origins.
Beautiful language overall, but the ''quirks'' will ensure my grammar will suck forever

Well, that sucks...
I don't really know if depression or bipolar disorder can cause insomnia (that could be the case tho)... anyway, it ain't great.
Have a good rest

I believe they used to teach either French or German in school a few years back, English wasn't as popular.
