Thoughts of a dying atheist
 

Questa canzone epica merita un topic a parte, descrive la paura tipica di un ateo nel momento di morire, sapendo che dopo la morte non vi è niente egli ne è terrorizzato, il testo praticamente è il pensiero di questo ateo morente che sembra comunicare probabilmente con la sua compagna nel letto di morte le sue sensazioni, una strofa fa intuire che invece la donna è religiosa, "where our worlds collide".

Infatti pure nella sezione commenti molti atei dicono di non avere paura della morte, però scommetto che quando si è lì per lì un po di fifa c'è. :sisi:

Forse Dying Atheist significa anche che è appunto il suo essere ateo ad essere morente.

Secondo me questa frase conferma il suo essere ateo, quei mondi che si scontrano secondo me sono il mondo materialista dell'ateo e quello religioso dell'interlocutore, poi non mi sembra così assurdo che un ateo abbia paura della morte, alla fine è pur sempre un essere umano. :pensando:

Paura della sofferenza che spesso accompagna la morte magari, ma paura che dopo la morte non ci sia nulla mi sembra abbastanza strano per un ateo.
