La canzone depressa e triste per eccellenza, almeno nel panorama italiano, secondo me è Uomini Soli dei Pooh. La linko in una versione un po' più movimentata dei Ministri perché sì.

Più che canzoni depresse direi che ci sono artisti depressi.
Mi ricordo Marco Masini, Mia Martini (rip) Muse (troppo bravi) Coldplay, pop inglese in genere, Pink Floyd (geniali)
Amoruso (carina ma sempre disperata) Renato zero (il carrozzone), Pooh (uomini soli è da suicidio ma verissima) e molti altri.
Poi non sopporto Biagio Antonacci, veramente da incubo.

Nel seguente link c'è l'album che per me è l'apoteosi dell'espressione della sofferenza:

L'album in questione è considerato uno dei massimi esempi del genere "Depressive Black Metal". C'è chi lo considera inascoltabile, non tanto per la sua appartenenza a un ramo non certo classico del Metal, contiene anche delle belle melodie unite ad un sound più estremo. Qualcuno lo considera pesante per la sofferenza espressa nel disco, alle volte accompagnata da pianti, conati, grida isteriche... a qualcuno fa ridere, in questo caso per via del cantante, li dove non c'è da ridere ma percepire la sofferenza che viene espressa.

in particolare io ascolto più che altro questa traccia:

contiene un po' tutto: melodie lente e cupe, sound più estremo, quella voce che a qualcuno fa ridere e a qualcuno trasmette follia e sofferenza, scream, pianti, urla disperate...

L'ultima canzone ascoltata che pur non conoscendo neanche il testo mi trasmette sensazioni tristi:

(appartenente al genere Post-hardcore)

Io sono in particolare un ascoltatore del genere Post-punk in cui non manca certo la malinconia, anche se di canzoni tristi se ne trovano in molti generi...

Principalmente io a volte trovo gioia e godimento nelle cose proprio tristi e malinconiche, perchè mi spinge alla meditazione. Perciò ascolto tutte canzoni abbastanza sul quel tono lì

Nel 2001 uscì Amnesiac, lo comprai più o meno in questi giorni, ricordo che passavo le giornate in casa senza far niente, allora nemmeno internet poteva aiutarti più di tanto contro la solitudine.

Un mattina presi la macchina e andai al negozio di dischi, faceva molto caldo, era sul lungo mare e vedere tutta quella gente che andava e veniva dai bagni mi dette un senso di stordimento.

Entrai nel negozio, comprai il cd e me ne uscii di corsa verso la macchina, come fossi un ladro, volevo allontanarmi da quell'ambiente così contrastante con la mia quotidianeità fatta di giornate tra letto, pc e tv.

Arrivato a casa andai in camera, l'avvolgibile abbassato, filtrava un po' di luce tra una stecca e l'altra, sdraiato al buio misi questa canzone (che botta di vita :D )

Sono passati 16 anni, sono cambiate tante cose, alcune in meglio altre in peggio, ma oggi mi pare di esser fermo ancora lì :pensando:

Questa canzone si ispira un po' a Satie (secondo me), l'ho ascoltata tempo fa durante una manifestazione di cori, ora ho trovato questa versione qua in rete.
Mi piacerebbe ascoltarla eseguita con una voce sola e pianoforte, ma non esiste una versione del genere.
