I should try to do like this too, but I'm way too lazy. I tried a couple of times and felt too stressed out. When I'm watching something on You Tube I have no problems instead: it doesn't matter if it's the news or a bunch of scenes from a movie, I understand it all. It is almost as if I'm uncapable to watch something in english for far too long. But I think that is not even true, sometimes I have watched videos as long as two hours on the internet documenting on something than interests me such as lectures and stuff with almost no problem... In short, maybe I'm just too lazy for movies and tv series and tend to switch back in italian. Tried to watch The Crown in english once, I must admit it, I didn't understand everything those posh were saying :D. American accent for example, is way much easier.
Also, I always had problems using the right tense. I never quite got it in school, I bet it's one of those things you learn better (or maybe I should say I'd learn better) when you move to an english speaking country and learn directly for yourself.
I consider myself acceptable in english as far as I have/need to write something down or maybe listen but I think I'm terrible at speaking. I just can't do it.

The grammar and the accent are more difficult, but it's a romance language like italian or french so if you put in more effort/change method you might end up finding some aspect of the language easier.
If you truly want to do it you can do it.

It's a werid language, I've never studied any French but I've heard it's a language full of little quirks, grammar rules and exceptions to those rules, the pronunciation isn't consistent with the written language, or in better terms, what you say doesn't correspond to what you write, and even more annoying there's no word to indicate the number eighty I believe and you just say 4 times 20.... -_-

Good afternoon my dear phobics people, whats up?

Yesterday I started a new show on netflix called ''infamia''. It's set in poland and the main character is a gypsy girl who wants to become a rap artist and is at odd with his traditionalist family.
So far the soundtrack they made up for the series, the pace, the characters etc seems pretty good. I'm glad because I really have an hard time finding shows that I find enjoyable the older I get for some reason :pensando:.

Beside that my researches seems to be going well, and while I'm going slow when it come to my final exams at least I'm going forward in a steady way.
