my english sucks
i understand everything that i read and everyone that i listen - if people ( in movies and in real life ) speaks slowly and without strong accent - , but i have many problems to speak (and also in writing, obviusly ).
I ignore many grammar rules or i have forgotten as time went by.

By the way, today my period told me that i have to stay home from work.
I think i spent my time watching tennis on tv.

That's pretty good. I was in the exact same situation 2 years ago and making the leap from understanding everything to current level wasn't that hard. It required finding people to practice with, but I'd say it took about 6-7 months.

I went to the china store near my house and bought some stuff for the house (cleaning stuff mainly). Now I need to start the day and study at least 10 pages. I'm really going slow motion this exam season but at least I'm doing something.
It's weird, the first year and second year I had a lot more exams left but I was way more motivated to reach the goal. Now I have less things left but I feel horrible anxiety wise and I'm dragging thru each day. The goal has never been that close but has never felt so far away, unless you count the years BEFORE I started.
Every 10-15 days I have some kind of existential crisis where I start to wonder if leaving my old field of study or not doing something else, like japanese or graphic design was a mistake, but the thing is, when I was doing something else I had the same kind of crisis EVERY year, multiple times a year, at least 1 a month. So I know that even If I had done something else, from this point of view my mental situation would have stayed the same. No matter what I do, I always have the nagging doubt that it is a mistake.

I miss having a cat. I had 2 cats I truly liked as a teenager, jack (like captain jack sparrow) and pantera (I wanted a wild animal but my parents refused for obvious reasons, so I decided to name the cat after my favourite big cat). Jack was like a cross between a cat and a dog. He hated being alone even for just a minute, was very clingy and very social, very playful. Pantera was a smart and affectionate animal. Sadly she died because she was hit by a car when I was 14. Jack was given away when I went to live with my grandparents. I don't think he is still alive.

Bipolar has phases in which you either sleep too much or too little, but that's the first time my problem is waking up too often and not falling back asleep. Before I just would not fall asleep, or I'd wake after 2 hours-3 with too much energy when I had a manic episode. I hope the hospital will fix this soon or that it will pass on its own soon.

There is a social anxiety forum like this one in english. You don't need to actually speak to anybody irl or even face to face online.
Even just writing something like a diary on your own might help.

Same here, unfortunatelly i never put effort in school to study the grammar, but already from a young age i was capable of understanding plenty of it. This is probably because in my country movies was and still aren't dubbed, so i was always watching everything in their original language with the subtitle. Today i'm able to undestand almost 99% of it, for example i watch movies in their original language without subtitle, and in very rare moment i don't understand. Probably if i go somewhere where english is the main language spoken in a few month my fluidith and grammar can be improved really much.

I'm sure they'd create both spells to improve the canthal tilt and wrist size and spells to give smaller wrists and negative canthal tilts to all their enemies.

God I miss that part of my childhood in which I was looking forward to a new harry potter book. Pretty much the only part of childhood I miss :D I haven't been able to care as much about a fiction work in the past decade.

i think without subtitles i might choose some specifical movies.
For example, years ago i was in new york and i decided to go to the cinema to see an horror.
I could choose saw ( i don't remember how number of the saga ) or paranormal activity ( same here, don't remember which ).
I chose paranormal activity, because saw have many fast dialogues ( often i don't understand neither in italian jigsaw when he explain the rules of the game:mrgreen: )

Until around 3 years ago i was watching everything with subtitles, then i decided that is time to do a step forward, and tried wthout. At the beginning i had to be really concentrated to understand well what they was saying, after every movie my brain was releasing more smoke than a steam train :sisi: , but after some time it was natural. Now i enjoy much more movies and don't have the subtitle distraction.

The only saw i saw (lol) was one chapter around probably 12 years ago, the worst seven (this morning i saw se7en :D ) euro spent in my life, i didn't like it, but i was forced by one friend to go to see it :mannaggia:
